1. Is this a religious based homeschool co-op?
No!
2. What type of religion is the company that oversees the co-op?
United Souls Fellowship is a whole Bible believing fellowship that believes and accepts Yeshua (Jesus) as their savior and messiah!
3. How many times a week does this group meet?
3x a week this includes 1x for education, 1x for social play time, 1x for Family P.E. (Hiking)
4. Do I have to go 3x a week?
No, you do not have to attend 3x a week. We highly recommend that you at least come to the educational opportunities and remember that a community is built when we meet regularly. Relationships are built through socialization.
5. How many fieldtrip does this group have?
We have a local based fieldtrip 1x a month and a long distance fieldtrip 4 times a year.
6. What is taught during education time?
We do not have a curriculum. Education time is focused on teaching what our fieldtrip is for the month. Education time will vary from hand-on, science experiments, craft, and more.
7. What is creative arts day?
The kids play games, show & tell, put on skits, talent shows & more!
8. Do I have to live in Marshall County to participate?
No way, if you are willing to travel you can join! Our play dates, and the 3 monthly educational times takes place in Lacon, Illinois. Hiking and fieldtrips the locations vary!
9. What are the ages of the kids?
The ages of the families that have registered range from preschool to 7th grade.
10. Does this co-op have a yearly membership fee?
We should but no! The fieldtrips may have a fee. You can donate a tax deductible gift to the scholarship and supplies fund, but no monthly or yearly fee.
